History and Philosophy

Four Seasons Solar Products was founded in 1975, and quickly became one of the largest manufacturers of year-round sunrooms and conservatories in the world.

Four Seasons enclosures and skylights have withstood the test of time in hundreds of thousands of residential and commercial installations, globally. We are committed to delivering products of superior quality and value to our customers around the world.

OUR HISTORY

Sunnyside Designs was founded in 1998 by Joe and Cecilia Ritchie. Joe had many years in the building and remodeling industry and upon learning he needed knee surgery decided it was time to specialize. He happened upon a fast food restaurant that was being demolished and purchased the sunroom section to be put over a pool at his house. The pool was to be used to help rehabilitate his knees. Shortly thereafter, some friends from Champagne, Il., came to visit and noticed their sunroom. These friends owned a Four Seasons Franchise in Champagne, and invited Joe to see their business. Joe knew he had found his niche. Beginning in 2006 Joe took on a partner in Patrick Stoehr. Pat has been a designer with Sunnyside Designs since the fall of 2001. His designs have been chosen as Finalists and Grand Prize winners by the National Sunroom Association. Pat also brought with him over 20 years of management experience to Sunnyside Designs. Joe and Pat compliment each other in their knowledge and skills, and are excited about the continued success and future of Sunnyside Designs. Inc.

Our local franchisees send their design consultants to our factory for training. This on-site factory training, combined with specific expertise in the field, ensures that your expectations will be met or exceeded on every project. These consultants are happy to meet with you in your home or at their showroom for a completely free, no-obligation design consultation.
Top Quality Installation Crews
Four Seasons offers installation training both at our corporate headquarters and in the field. This training helps ensure that your installation will be a fast, efficient, and trouble-free.

We are so confident in our products that Four Seasons offers and backs up a Lifetime Limited Warranty on all its products. Four Seasons glass technology is so advanced that it warrants it 100 percent against seal failure and even breakage for a full 20 years.

Products and Applications

For over a quarter of a century, Four Seasons has been dedicated to developing the state of the art in sunroom design and innovation. All Four Seasons products are thermally designed to provide maximum comfort from extreme northern climates like Canada and Alaska to extremely hot climates like Arizona and the Middle East. Four Seasons products have been designed and tested to meet and comply with the toughest building codes throughout the country, from heavy snow loads to extreme wind loads.

Four Seasons' exclusive, patented CONSERVAGLASS PLUS™ has continuously achieved a CBA rating (the highest attainable) by certified independent testing laboratories. The exclusive and proprietary coating is produced under ISO 9001-certified designation from the International Organization of Standards.

In addition, Four Seasons structural frames are all 100 percent thermally broken to stop the transfer of outside temperatures to inside surfaces.
